APM provides tailored injury prevention and management services to Australian Government Agencies and to organisations who are self insured under the Comcare scheme. Our service philosophy reflects the requirements and intent of the Safety Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 (SRC Act).
APM also provides services to State and Commonwealth Government funded disability departments and other external service providers to help people with disabilities or health related concerns return to work and increase their social and economic participation in the Australian community.
At APM, we are expert at assessing the impact of medical conditions on ability to work and we are experienced at facilitating workforce participation for people with disabilities, illness or injury. In fact, APM is currently Australia's largest private provider of Job Capacity Assessment (JCAs) and Disability Employment Services (DES).
Indeed, in 2002, APM won 90% of a National Tender to provide Work Capacity Assessments for the clients of Centrelink and FaCS throughout Australia. Then, in 2006, APM was awarded the largest private sector market share, over 50% of the new JCA, winning every Employment Services Area (ESA) (135) in Australia with the exception of the Christmas and Cocos Islands.
Finally, in 2007, APM was awarded the largest private sector share (33%) of the Australian Government funded VRS contract, covering 48 ESAs and 77 sites.
