If you are a job seeker and have been referred to APM, it is likely to be because you need help due to an injury, disability or health related condition and you are seeking employment. You might have been referred to APM by your insurance company, your employer, your doctor, a solicitor, a Job Capacity Assessor or it may be because you have accessed your workplace Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
Our assistance will depend on who has referred you and why. Our involvement with job seekers is usually focused on either assisting you with returning to, remaining at, or assessing your capacity for work.
When you come to APM, you will meet with a Rehabilitation Consultant or an Employment Consultant who will give you more information about APM's services and how we can help you.
For your first appointment at APM it would be helpful if you bring the following information:
• Any recent medical information
• Contact details of your doctor, physiotherapist or any other treating health professionals
• A copy of your resume and any details of training or volunteer work you have completed

Job Capacity Assessment (JCA)
If you have been referred from Centrelink or an Employment Service Provider for a Job Capacity Assessment (JCA), it is to recommend you the appropriate Australian Government funded programs of assistance, to help you find a job or maintain your employment.
Employment Services (ES)
Disability Employment Services (DES) are one of the Government funded programmes that helps job seekers, who because of an injury, disability or health condition, find getting into work difficult. DES provides a comprehensive service that combines vocational rehabilitation with specialist employment assistance.
Psychological Services
APM can offer you Psychology, Counselling Intervention and Clinical Treatment Services. Our Psychologists are highly skilled in helping individuals with preventative strategies relating to psychological health.
