Advanced Personnel Management commenced operations in 1994 as an workplace rehabilitation agency accredited with WorkCover Western Australia and Comcare Australia and providing services in the Workers Compensation, Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Motor Vehicle Insurance, and Life Insurance Sectors.
Under the direction of Managing Director, Megan Wynne, APM has grown from 3 consultants based in 1 office in WA to a national company specialising in workplace rehabilitation and counselling and employment services, with a team of approximately 600+ APMers, working from 81 branches and providing services to approximately 80,000 Australians each year.
• 1994 - 1999: APM developed state-wide service reach in WA
• 2000: Interstate expansion into the NT (Darwin and Alice Springs) and Tasmania (Hobart and Launceston)
• 2001: NSW and ACT operations established
• 2002: Victoria, QLD and SA operations established
• 2002: Became a truly national company with offices in every State & Territory in Australia. APM also won 90% of a national tender to provide Work Capacity Assessments for the clients of Centrelink/ Family and Children Services (FaCS) throughout Australia

• 2005: ISO Accreditation nationally
• July 2006: APM was awarded the largest private sector market share, over 50%, of the new Job Capacity Assessment (JCA) contract by the Australian Government, winning in every ESA (Employment Services Area) (135) in Australia with the exception of Christmas/Cocos
• 2006: APM launched its Job Capacity Account services (JCAc)
• 2007: APM was awarded the largest private sector share (33%) of the Australian Government funded Vocational Rehabilitation Services - VRS (Disability Employment Services - DES) contract, covering 48 ESA and 77 sites.
• 2009: APM was appointed to DEEWR's National Panel of Assessors to deliver Ongoing Support Assessments, Supported Wage Assessments and Workplace Modifications.
