APM will welcome Federal Minister for Employment and Senator for Tasmania, Hon Eric Abetz to APM's jobactive Hobart site to mark the occasion.
Awarded contracts to deliver jobactive in nine regions, APM is the largest new entrant to the market, building on its considerable success as a provider of disability employment services to Australians.
APM founder and Managing Director, Megan Wynne, is passionate about the capacity of APM's 1000-strong Australian staff to help people get their lives back on track through gaining employment.
"Over a number of years, APM has grown to be the largest provider of disability employment services in Australia, and we look forward to extending our reach to help more Australians into secure and lasting work through jobactive," said Ms Wynne.
"Finding a job improves not just a person's economic wellbeing but their social and psychological wellbeing as well," said APM Group Chief Executive Officer, Michael Hobday.
"Our strong network of partners across Australia will allow us to pool resources to continue to achieve positive outcomes."
One such partner is Programmed, (ASX:PRG) who provides staffing, maintenance and facilities management services.
Programmed employs more than 10,000 people on a daily basis, while APM assists more than 60,000 people each year.
