APM increases the scope of its Disability Employment Service

Published on 28 Jun 2013

We have been awarded the opportunity to nationally deliver the Australian Government's DES-Employment Support Service (ESS) program, which supports people with permanent disabilities and health conditions to secure open and sustainable employment.

We will be providing this service across each of the six states in a wide range of metropolitan and regional locations, and increasing our already extensive support network in the process.

Our delivery of the DES-ESS program will sit alongside the DES-Disability Management Service that we currently provide and with a total of over 230 offices, this award makes APM the largest Australian-owned private provider of both Disability Employment Services programs.

"We are thrilled with the opportunity to deliver this service to the Australian publ," said Viv Gugger, General Manager of APM Employment Services.

"At APM, we are passionate about assisting people with disabilities, injuries and other medical conditions to experience the dignity and benefits of work.

"APM prides itself on respecting the needs of our clients by developing individualised support plans that prioritise the role and value of employment, and we work to provide employment-focused solutions that get people back into the workforce sooner.

"The ability to deliver the Employment Support Service program across Australia means that we can now extend this passion to a greater number of people in need of support."

The award of this program to APM is part of the Government's intention to ensure that people with a disability have access to the highest standard of employment services and reinforces APM's reputation as a key provider of quality Disability Employment Services nationally.
