APM UK is set to expand its services having secured a series of significant DWP /ESF subcontracts.

The company is to deliver three subcontracts with partners Reed in the regions of Staffordshire & Stoke, Leeds & Bradford and the South East, whilst APM UK is also the largest single partner in the supply chain of the preferred North Yorkshire bidder, Ixion.

Worth a combined figure of up to £3m, the three-year subcontracts will see APM work with approximately 2,000 jobseekers from mid-October 2016 onwards.

The new contracts are designed to offer support to unemployed people outside of Work Programme provision, primarily encompassing those who have been unemployed for six months or more, and including those with health conditions.

Head of Business Development, David Ward, said: "These subcontracts represent an excellent opportunity for our business to consolidate within existing geographies, whilst developing our services in new areas.

"We very much look forward to applying our expertise in supporting jobseekers through this new provision."

Mirroring an expected component of the soon to be released Work and Health Programme, the new provision will see providers required to engage with clients on a voluntary basis.

APM UK delivers a series of prime and sub-contracts across the UK, including National Citizen Service, Work Programme, SFA NEETs, Working Capital and National Offender Management Service provision.
