Apprentice star inspires year 11s with #SUCCESStour

Melody Hossaini was only 13 years of age when she first began inspiring young people, and now the star of The Apprentice has been visiting schools and colleges in the West Midlands to inspire groups of teenagers with her #SUCCESStour.

Melody is a multi-award winning global businesswoman, founder and CEO of InspirEngage and a professional speaker, who made it to week 10 (out of 12) on The Apprentice.

Her #SUCCESStour is a continuation of her longstanding partnership with National Citizen Service (NCS) in delivering the InspirEngage boot-camps as part of the NCS summer programme.

The tour started recently with a visit to Hagley Catholic High School and saw Melody talking to a group of year 11 students about the benefits of NCS and how to make a success of giving back to your local community.

Her inspirational presentation encouraged a number of the year 11 pupils to take the first step on the road to success by signing up for NCS this summer.

Melody said; "I'd like to thank Hagley Catholic High School for hosting the first stop of the tour- it was a pleasure speaking with your students."

Melody's boot-camp delivery offers young people the chance to develop the skills to firstly shape a solid social action project, then turn their project into a social enterprise, thus continuing to make a difference whilst also earning an income.

Terrance Hammond, head teacher of Hagley Catholic High School said of Melody's visit: "It was engaging, inspirational and a wonderful opportunity for our Year 11 students to be encouraged at this important time in their lives"
