What benefits and risks surround pre-employment, workplace and occupational assessments?

The purpose and benefits of workplace health assessments will be the focus of a roundtable presentation by APM WorkCare at this year’s OHS Leaders Summit.

The annual leading event for the health and safety industry is taking place in Brisbane on 25 and 26 March.

APM WorkCare is returning to host a discussion following a highly successful roundtable in 2019 which focused on the future of technology in health and safety.

This year APM WorkCare General Manager Philip Paysden will host a panel discussion on workplace assessments.

Philip will be joined by Dr Rob McCartney from Resile Pty Ltd who has specialised in the field of Occupational and Environmental Medicine for over 20 years, and James Sclater, Psychologist and Senior Organisational Development Specialist with Assure Programs.

Ahead of the event, which APM WorkCare is sponsoring, Philip said they were expecting a large turnout of health and safety managers and business leaders to the discussion following last year’s large attendance and the always highly contentious workplace health assessment topic

“APM WorkCare is proud to be involved in the OHS Leaders Summit for another year,” he said.

“As one of Australia’s largest health services and workplace wellness organisations, we are committed to helping Australian workplaces foster healthier, more productive workplaces by sharing our expertise and industry data.”

The OHS Leaders Summit will be held at the Sofitel Brisbane Central Hotel on 25 to 26 March.
