Cannock Radio audience Peake's as Claire & Di steal show

Published on 23 Aug 2016

Unofficial figures suggest that Cannock Chase Radio's audience achieved a significant Peake yesterday, as Claire and Di from APM's Nu-Futures team stole the mid-morning show!

The pair dropped in to their local radio station to promote the benefits of Nu-Futures, our innovative youth-focused programme currently being delivered in the Stoke and Staffordshire LEP area.

The programme offers education, employment and apprenticeship opportunities to young people aged 15-24 years-old, who may typically be classed as 'NEET'.

"We were delighted to be given the opportunity to appear on Rob Hughes' show to promote Nu-Futures," says APM Team Leader, Claire Peake who was accompanied by colleague, Di Jones.

"Our programme is all about reaching out to young people and their families in places like Cannock and so it's so important that we receive the support of local organisations such as Cannock Chase Radio to get the message out there."

APM's experienced team work closely with each individual to offer a tailored package of support designed to support young people that may not have achieved within a traditional school environment.

The team is currently developing a network of local partners and services designed to both promote the programme and enhance the delivery experience for participants.
